Hardware general troubleshooting

Booting USB stick not recognized

Hardware is definitively not between my abilities.

What to do when your motherboard does not seem to boot USB devices? My motherboard just thinks my USB stick is a legacy device... I had to browse the BIOS in *Advanced* -> *USB Configuration* and set *Legacy USB Support* to **Enabled**. It worked.

Even though making this change, the USB was not recognized sometimes. The workaround I had to make is to turn the computer on and just connect the USB stick, before the boot menu comes up. Strange, but worked.
